Snack recipe: Palak pakoda
Perfect evening snack can make on different occasions, easy to make with simple ingredients. They’re crispy outside and tender inside, anybody can prepare these fritters.
Let’s start with ingredients and follows the procedure
Servings: 5
Duration: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Spinach – Bunch – chopped
- Besan or chickpea flour β 1 cup β 240 grams
- Rice flour β 2 tbsp
- Carom seeds or ajwain seeds β 1/2 tsp
- Red chilly powder β 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Salt β 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking soda β 1/ 4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder β 1/4 teaspoon
- Water β 60 ml
- Oil β to deep fry
Procedure:
- In a deep bowl, add besan, rice flour, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, baking soda, ajwain seeds, cumin seeds, spinach and mix well
- Then add water, mix well and it should be semi-thick consistency
- Heat oil to deep fry,Β take small portions of pakoda batter and gently drop in oil, each at a time.
- Fry till the pakoda’s become golden brown as shown in the video π
- Repeat the process till the batter completes, enjoy your day and happy cooking π
