Coriander Coconut Chutney / Kothimeera Kobbari Chutney


Roasted Chickpea/ Pappulu – 3 Tb sp

Fresh grated Coconut – 1 cup

Coriander – 1/2 cup

Green chillies – 4

Lemon juice – 1 tea spoon

Salt – As per taste

For Tempering:

Mustard seeds/ Avvalu – 1/4 tea spoon

Cumin seeds/ Jeera – 1/2 tea spoon

Urad dal/ Minapappu – 1/4 tea spoon

Bengal gram/ Senagapappu – 1/4 tea spoon

Curry leaves – 4 to 5

Oil – 1 tb sp


  • Take Roasted chickpea, green chillies, salt, coriander leaves add in mixer grinder blend them to medium coarse paste
  • Add grated coconut in the same jar and make smooth paste
  • Take out the paste in a bowl
  • Add lemon juice and mix well
  • Finally add tempering to coriander coconut chutney
  • Serve it with idly/ dosa/ puri
  • Enjoy it with your favorite type of dosa
