Salad recipe: Corn 🌽 Capsicum Salad 🌿

In the process of creating a new salad with tricolor peppers and sweet corn along with spices and dried basil🌿 so this is the output. It turned out super tasty 😋 salad.

Salad loads with lots of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, after tasting delicious food from many days/ months it is a little bit tuff to eat healthy food like fresh vegetable salad.

How to eat healthy salad ? make salad relishing and also without reducing any nutrients from it, yes you can have it in an easy basic way by adding salt, pepper, nuts and lemon juice. This makes your salad rich in taste and easy to make. Especially, for kids you can serve as evening snack or morning breakfast or you can pack for lunch box too😊

Let’s start with ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

  • Boiled fresh sweet corn kernels – 1 cup – 240 gms
  • Orange, yellow, red Capsicum – 2 Tb sp – each – finely chopped
  • Red onion – 1 Tb sp – finely chopped
  • Cucumber – julienne Cut – 1/4 cup
  • Cilantro – 2 Tb sp
  • Salt – 3/4 tsp
  • Red paprika – 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1/2 Tb sp
  • Masala peanuts  – 1 Tb sp
  • Dried basil 🌿 – 1 tsp
  • Butter – 1 tsp – melted

Procedure:

  • In a mixing bowl add melted butter, salt, black pepper powder, red paprika, dried basil, masala peanuts & lemon juice
  • Mix well
  • Next Add chopped onions, tricolor peppers, cucumber, cilantro & boiled sweet corn 🌽
  • Combine well & serve immediately
  • Happy cooking & Enjoy your day 😊

Note:

  • Adjust spices according to taste
  • To increase the spicy level add red chilly powder instead of red paprika
