Cookies : Tutti Frutti Cookies

If you wanna make delicious cookies in Just 10 minutes then this is the right platform to explore the famous Hyderabad Cookies from India called Karachi Biscuits. It is a large chain bakery and they made many varieties of cookies, each and every cookie is super yum 😋

Today, I’m sharing One of the special and famous Crispy and delicious cookies from Karachi bakery they’re Tutti Frutti Cookies 👌

Let’s start with Ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour – 1 cup – 240 gms
  • Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup – 180 gms ( blended granulated sugar)
  • Tutti Frutti – Orange colored – 1/3 cup
  • Milk – 1.5 Tb sp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron strands – 6
  • Butter – 4 Tb sp

Procedure:

Saffron Milk:

  • In a small bowl add milk & saffron
  • Let it soak 5 mins
  • Keep aside

Process of making Tutti Frutti Cookies:

  • In a mixing bowl add melted butter and powdered sugar
  • Mix well till it becomes smooth and creamy by using spatula
  • Next add vanilla essence & saffron milk
  • Combine well & Add flour along with Tutti Frutti
  • Gently mix till it becomes crumbled
  • Form dough by mixing with hand
  • Divide dough into two equal parts and make cylinder shape
  • Wrap them and refrigerate 2 hours
  • Chop them equally ( 1/2 inch  each ) with a sharp knife
  • Arrange them on baking tray lined with wax paper and leave space between them
  • Preheat oven @ 375 F or 195 C and Bake 10 minutes to make golden brown cookies
  • Or else Bake 8 minutes to become natural light colored cookies like they are available at Karachi Bakery 🙂
  • Take out baking tray from oven and let them become cool or rest 30 minutes & then serve with tea or snacks at kids lunch box or at home 🏡

Note:

  • Adjust sweetness according to taste
  • Instead of vanilla essence you can also add either rose water or pineapple essence
  • I used single colored tutti Frutti you can also use other color combination
  • Store in an airtight container to remain fresh and tasty 😋
  • Shelf life upto one month
