Breakfast recipe : Oats Quinoa DosaΒ

When I started quinoa in my diet I would to make something different with quinoa such new recipes are indulging and comes out perfectly. In our daily life, we Β like to eat varieties of breakfast most common appealing favorite breakfast is Masala Dosa with Sambar and chutney πŸ˜‹

Oats Quinoa Dosa won’t make much difference with regular ones it tastes the same, comes out crispy, healthy and scrumptious breakfast fulfills your gut. Today, I prepared combination of Quinoa Oats and more! So it’s completely healthy, pack of protein, fiber and vitamins. It’s best to add in your check list of diet recipes because it’s made without rice.

Duration: 8 hours to soak and 20 minutes to prepare batter and dosa

  • Gluten free
  • It has low glycemic index
  • Helps to lose weight

Let’s start with ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:Β 

1 cup = 160 grams

  • Quinoa – 1/2 cup
  • Steel cut oats – 1/2 cup
  • Skinless black gram / urad dal – 1/2 cup
  • Chana dal/ Bengal gram Β – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Coconut oil – to cook dosa’s ( or any cooking oil )

Procedure:

  • In a deep bowl add all ingredients, gently mix and wash thrice under running water
  • Add sufficient water and soak 6-8 hours
  • Grind into smooth batter by adding 1/2 cup of water
  • Take out batter in a bowl and add salt
  • Combine well and make Dosa’s instantly
  • Spread dosa, Apply oil or ghee
  • Cook both sides and serve hot with your favoriteΒ Onion Pappula Chutney

Suggestions:

  • No need to ferment the batter if you wish you can ferment for 4-5 hours or more
  • When the batter fermented you can preserve only one day in refrigerator
  • Otherwise the batter becomes sour taste it’s best to use immediately because batter is not prepared by rice
  • If the batter not fermented you can store and use upto 2 days in refrigerator
  • For best results store in an airtight container
