How to grow 1 inch long Mung Bean Sprouts at home 🏑 | Green gram Sprouts πŸ˜ƒ

Mung Bean Sprouts are healthy, rich in protein and contains fiber components along with vitamins. You can include sprouts in curries, stir fry vegetables and preferably they can consume either in salads πŸ₯— or sandwiches πŸ₯ͺΒ . However, you intake but try to not lose vitamins and other benefits from sprouts. You can also eat raw mung beans sprouts, they’re crispy and gives a little sweetness πŸ™‚

Health Benefits of Mung Beans Sprouts:

  • Β It’s rich in protein, fiber and iron
  • And also contains lots of folate value which is beneficial for pregnancy women
  • Vitamins: B, C & K

Let’s start with Ingredients and follows Procedure


  • Mung beans/ Green gram / Moong Dal – 80 gms
  • Water – 1 liter


  • Wash mung beans , strain & add in a big bowl
  • Next Add in water and soak 12 hours
  • Then drain water using colander and add in cotton cloth
  • Make a tight knot, keep it in the box and close with lid
  • Keep it in warm place, away from sunlight upto 30 hours or till it grows long sprouts
  • After 30 hours, open knot and see how my mung beans sprouts germinated naturally
  • Takeout them in a bowl, mung beans sprouts are ready to eat πŸ˜ƒ
