Curry is most referring term in North India and South India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณย to make it simple I can say in Indiaย ๐Ÿ˜Š. You might have not tasted cluster beans curry in the way I made with peanuts powder. Anyway, I feel you are luckier and easy to make delicious curries because things are handy and you have reached the right place ๐Ÿ˜‰

Coming to the recipe, vegetable plays a vital role and I believe they have their own style in look, in taste, in texture , vitamins and minerals. As I noticed, People always avoid this Vegetable and doesnโ€™t like to include in their daily meal. To those stubborn people ๐Ÿ˜› can trust me and get ready to eat this delicious side dish.

  • Cluster Beans – Fresh – 200 gms
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal / Skinless black gram – 1 tsp
  • Bengal gram/ Chana dal – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 5 – chopped
  • Peanut ๐Ÿฅœ powder ย – 4 Tb sp ( click for recipe – Homemade Peanuts ๐Ÿฅœย Powder)
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Water – 150 ml – to cook cluster beans


Cooking Cluster Beans:

  • Chop Cluster Beans into 1/2 inch pieces
  • Add in pressure cooker along with salt, water & turmeric powder
  • Cook over medium heat for 2 whistles
  • Turn off eat, let pressure goes off
  • Open lid and keep aside

Process of making Curry:ย 

  • Heat a skillet pan over medium heat
  • Add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, Chana dal and curry leaves
  • Saute and add cooked cluster beans
  • Mix well and add peanut ๐Ÿฅœย powder
  • Add little amount of water to make the gravy consistency
  • Combine well and cook 10 mins
  • Turn off heat and serve with roti/ย Chapathi

    You know even Maharashtrian people cook it in same way just that no curry leaves,udad and chana dal. I must say its a nice recipe and tastes very good ๐Ÿ™‚
