Summer Treat : Ice Cream

As I started summer treats, it is very interesting , lovely to present and surprise in your home. Today I prepared homemade malai Kulfi it means Ice cream made with plain milk and also includes freshly chopped dry fruit nuts and essence of cardamom, I instantly grounded cardamom πŸ‘Œ So why you’re waiting for make your summer cool with homemade ice creams and Milkshakes then everything becomes cool 😎 with my treats.

Kids favorite ice cream pop and we ❀️ it. I hope you like it. One more point this is my 200th post I’m so grateful to share with my friendly followers πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸ˜

Duration:Β 

Cooking time: 45 mins

Frezzing time: 6-8 hoursΒ 

Let’s start with ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

  • Cream Milk – 1000 ml – 1 ltr
  • Cashew nuts – 30 gms – chopped
  • Almonds – 30 gms – chopped
  • Pistachios – 30 gms – chopped
  • Cane sugar – 150 gms
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Heavy bottomed pan ( I used nonstick )

Procedure:

  • Heat pan over medium heat
  • Add milk
  • Let it boil
  • When milk started boiling add chopped nuts, sugar and cardamom powder
  • Mix well and stir continuously to avoid burnt at bottom
  • Scrap sides and stir upto the quantity decreases to 3/4th
  • Turnoff heat and let it become cool
  • Take a popsicle molds set ( as shown in picture )
  • Pour in each mold & close
  • Freeze them upto 8 hours
  • Take out them after 8 hours and dip each mold in plain water(30 secs) to de-mold easily
  • Serve immediately

Note:

  • Adjust sweetness and nuts according to taste
  • Instead of cane sugar you can also use granulated sugar
  • Including Dry fruits you can also add tutti frutti
  • If your freezer set to too cold then it won’t take 8 hours to set popsicle
