Gobi Methi ☘️ Ki Sabji | Cauliflower Fenugreek ☘️ Curry | Side dish | No onion – No Garlic

Side Dish: Gobi Methi curry: Roti/ Chapathi/ Phulka

Any Indian meal contains Dal, curry, rice, roti and curd it’s so authentic and traditional to have a meal with different kind of curries and it gives you so much satisfaction.

Curry is a side dish either wet/ dry prepared out of vegetables/ leafy vegetables. It should be cooked and make sure it contain some amount of nutrients in it for good health diet. You can dip roti in curry and eat, you feel the flavours of it really delicious 😋

In South India it’s common recipe and should be a side dish in every meal, Serve this curry with any phulka/ Roti then it’s great combination 👍

Today, I prepared healthy and tasty curry with cauliflower and fenugreek leaves ☘️ I like these two in any way and with spices then it absolutely awesome right..it might helpful during vrat because I haven’t added onion-garlic ( No onion – No garlic )

Let’s start with ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower florets – 250 gms
  • Methi leaves – 1 bunch – chopped
  • Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup – chopped
  • Green chillies – finely chopped – 1 tb sp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing – 1/8 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 1 tb sp

Procedure:

  • Heat skillet pan over medium heat
  • Add oil, cumin seeds and green chillies
  • Let them splutter
  • Saute and add all spices ( Turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt, Hing, Garam Masala Powder and coriander powder)
  • Mix well ( make sure spices should not burnt )
  • Add blanched cauliflower ( checkout below link how to blanch cauliflower )
  • Mooli Gobi 🍛 Sabji | Radish Cauliflower Curry | Side Dish | Roti
  • Saute and mix till cauliflower florets coated with fried spices
  • Next add chopped Methi leaves, cook 1 minute ( to protect vitamins )
  • Turn off heat and add chopped coriander leaves
  • Mix well and serve with Chapathi/ Roti
  • Happy cooking and enjoy your day 🙂

  3. Looks delicious. Will give it a try. Quick question, why ar ethe cauliflower blanched? Can I make it wihout blanching, and just cook the cauluflower with the spices?

      Yes you can do, I blanched cauliflower bcoz To protect vitamins and also it won’t take much time in frying 🙂
