Breakfast recipe: Veg Sandwich with mint sauce

Easy and quick breakfast recipe for kids / everyone at home. When you want to have healthy breakfast make sandwiches with full of veggies and flavours. It’s healthy & tasty too.

Before starting the process of Veg Sandwich With Mint Sauce. First you have to pre-prepare mint sauce

How to make mint sauce for sandwich?

Ingredients:

Mint leaves – 80 gms

Dry coconut powder – 3 tb sp ( you can also use fresh grated coconut)

Garlic cloves – 2 – peeled off

Green chillies – 3

Salt – 1 tsp

Lemon – half – juice

Procedure:

  • In mixer grinder add garlic cloves, green chillies & salt.
  • Blend smooth
  • Add mint leaves & blend smooth
  • Add coconut powder & blend smooth by adding water ( do not add so much of water )
  • Take out in a bowl
  • Add lemon juice and mix well
  • Mint sauce is ready

Capsicum/ Bell pepper:

Ghee:

Fat & protein

Today, I prepared a sandwich which is loaded with carrot, capsicum/ Green bell pepper, Cabbage,onion & mint sauce.

Let’s start with Ingredients and follows Procedure

Preparation of Veg sandwich with mint sauce:

Ingredients :

Milk bread slices – 4 ( You can use any bread)

Ghee / Butter – 1 tb sp

Mint sauce – 3 tb sp

Julienne cut

Carrot – 1/2

Capsicum/ Bell pepper – 1/2

Onion – 1/2

Cabbage – 80 gms

Tomato slices – seedless – 4

Pepper powder – fine – 1/2 tsp

salt – 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Procedure:

  • Toast bread slices with ghee/ butter
  • Add veggies in a bowl and add pepper powder , salt and lemon juice.
  • Mix well and keep aside for 5 mins
  • Apply 1/2 tb sp mint sauce on each slice
  • Put tomato slices
  • Spread veggies on both slices
  • Carefully, Flip slice on the other slice
  • Chop into half
  • Serve it with tomato sauce/ ketchup
  • Yummy breakfast for kids & everyone at home 🏑
