Don’t be scared that it is huge process and it takes lots of time to prepare. I say ” when youย have free time like in weekends/ Holidays you can prepare and store Idly / Dosa Podi it remains fresh till 2 months”

” Dosa Batter you can prepare at home, if you don’t have that much to make. It’s is easily available at stores. Grab a pack and make Dosa’s”

“Coconut chutney and potato Masala curry takes hardly 30 mins time for preparation. I won’t suggest to prepare and store in refrigerator it is not good for health and you won’t get that much taste as freshly cooked”

My healthy suggestion is always cook fresh and eat fresh ๐Ÿ˜Š

Coming to the Recipe:

Today, I prepared Ghee Podi Masala Dosa which contains sprinkled podi , ghee and stuffed with aloo masala.

Nutrition facts:

Ghee:ย It contains fat and minor portion of protein

Masala Dosa with coconut chutney:

Vitamin : A & C

Minerals : Iron, calicium, sodium and protein

Let’s start with Ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

Dosa Batter:ย Dosa Batter/ South Indian pancake Batter

Podi :ย Idly/ Dosa podi / Powder ๐Ÿ˜‹ || Tamilnadu recipe

Aloo Masala:ย Potato Masala/ Aloo Masala

Coconut chutney:ย Coriander Coconut Chutney / Kothimeera Kobbari Chutney

Ghee – 1 tb sp

Procedure:

  • Heat tawa / Dosa tawa on medium heat
  • Sprinkle water to test tawa is hot or not
  • Take one big ladle Dosa Batter and pour at center of the tawa
  • Spread batter in circular motion with ladle
  • Either thin / thick dosa
  • Sprinkle Idly/ Dosa Podi equally on it
  • Apply one tsp ghee around and on dosa
  • Close with lid and cook 30 secs
  • Add 3 tb sp aloo Masala at center of dosa when downsides of dosa color changes to golden brown
  • Fold left and right sides of dosa as shown in picture below
  • Flip it gently
  • Serve it hot with coconut chutney/ sambar
  • You have to try this recipe, it’s delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹
