Wheat 🌾 is cultivated all over the world, it can be used as flour, broken wheat. Many varieties of dishes can be made out of wheat, wheat flour and broken wheat.

Such as cakes, Roti, Upma, snacks, Bread, whole wheat bread etc.,

Nutrition facts of Broken Wheat 🌾:

It contains proteinΒ 

Today, I prepared a sweet recipe with broken wheat which is the main ingredient, milk, sugar and garnish with cashew nuts.

Let’s start with ingredients and follows Procedure

Ingredients:

Broken wheat – 60 gms

Sugar – 80 gms

Milk – 235 ml

Ghee – 1 tsp

Garnish :

Cashew nuts – 6 to 7

Poppy seeds – 1/2 tsp

Dry coconut powder – 1/2 tb sp

Ghee – 1 tsp

Procedure:

Garnish Process:

  • Heat a deep bowl/ pan / tempering pan on medium heat
  • Add 1/2 tsp ghee and roast cashew nuts
  • When cashew nuts half roasted, add poppy seeds
  • Saute them
  • Add dry coconut powder/ dry grated coconut
  • Saute 30 secs and take out in a plate

Broken Wheat/ Godhuma Rava Halwa preparation:

  • Boil milk in a bowl/ pan on medium heat
  • When milk started boiling add broken wheat/ godhuma rava in it
  • Mix well & stir
  • Cook 2 mins
  • Add sugar and mix well
  • Cook 5 mins
  • Add 1 tsp ghee and mix well
  • Cook 5 to 7 mins
  • Stir occasionally, when the content becoming thick
  • Apply ghee on a plate
  • Dish out on it
  • Tap twice and spread
  • Let it become cool for 15 to 20 mins
  • Garnish with roasted cashew nuts mixture
  • Take a knife and cut vertically and horizontally to make square shape
  • As shown in pictures
  • Dish out in a serving bowl/ Plate
