Rice flour is made out of rice, often used in South Indian dishes and also prepares many recipes out of it such as snacksΒ and breakfast recipes.

It’s is easily available in super markets all over India/ Indian stores in other countries.Β Grab a pack and ready to make recipes with rice flour.

Today, I prepared Instant Veg Dosa/ Rice flour Dosa with spices, ginger, grated carrot and onion.

Let’s start with Ingredients and follows procedure

Ingredients:

Rice flour – 1 cup

Semolina/ Rava/ Sooji – 1/2 cup

Cumin/ Jeera seeds – 1 teaspoon

Green chillies – finely chopped – 3

Curry leaves – 5 – chopped

Ginger – chopped – 1 tb sp

Grated carrot – 3 tb sp

Finely chopped onion – 1/2 cup

Coriander – chopped – 1/2 cup

Salt – to taste

Oil – 3 tb sp – to cook dosa

Procedure:

  • In medium sized bowl add salt,green chillies,ginger, grated carrot, onion, coriander and curry leaves
  • Add rice and semolina in bowl and mix well
  • Add 3 cups of water and mix
  • Rest 10-15 mins, batter should be pouring consistency
  • Heat tava on medium to high
  • Everytime, mix well the batter before pouring on tava. If required add water
  • Spread 2 ladles of batter on tava
  • Don’t pour batter at center of tava, spread batter all over on tava
  • Apply oil
  • Flip when color changes to brown
  • Β Cook the other side
  • Dish out when Cooked well
  • Crunchy and golden color Instant Veg Dosa is ready
  • Serve it with Coconut Chutney/Β Coriander Coconut Chutney / Kothimeera Kobbari Chutney
