Split Green gram salad πŸ˜€ || No oil

Quick and tasty salad: South Indian recipeΒ

Split green gram is one type of lentil, very low saturated and cholesterol. It’s also good source of protein and vitamin C,K and B6

Today in my recipe I used split green gram with fresh coconut , carrot and spices.

Let’s start with Ingredients and procedure

Ingredients:

Split green gram – 1/2 cup

Fresh grated coconut – 3 tb sp

Fresh grated carrot – 2 tb sp

Red chilly powder – 1/2 tb sp

Chopped coriander – 2 tb sp

Salt – to taste

Lemon juice – 1/2 tb sp

Procedure:

  • Wash twice and Soak split green gram for 6 hours
  • Add red chilly powder, fresh grated coconut , grated carrot, salt and coriander in a bowl
  • Mix them well
  • Drain water AndΒ Add soaked split green gram in bowl
  • Mix well and add lemon juice
  • Give it a mix and serve
  • Split green gram salad is ready to serve πŸ˜€
