Attukula Payasam/ Poha Kheer/Pressed rice sweet || Krishna Janmashtami Spl πŸ˜ƒ

Ingredients:

Pressed Rice / Poha / Attukullu – 1 cup

Milk – 3 cups

Sugar – 2 tb sp

Ghee – 1 teaspoon

Cashew nuts – chopped- 1/2 tb sp

Almonds – chopped – 1 teaspoon

Procedure:

  • Fry chopped cashew nuts and Almonds in ghee
  • keep them aside
  • Boil milk in another pan
  • Add pressed rice / attukullu
  • Close with lid
  • Cook 5 minutes , stir in between
  • Add ghee and sugar
  • Mix them well and close the lid
  • Cook for 2 minutes , stir in between
  • Take out sweet in serving bowl
  • Quick and tasty sweet recipe is ready to serve

  1. Mouth Watering Payasam. Usually I do this using Jaggery. Next time will try using sugar. Thanks for sharing.
