Sweet & Sour Pani Puri / Golgappa/ Gup Chup


Puri’s – as required


Finely chopped

Sweet corn 🌽 – 1/2 cup

Green bell pepper/ Capsicum – 1/2 cup

Onion – 1/2 cup

Grated carrot Β – 1/4 cup

Coriander chopped – 2 tb sp

Red chilly flakes – 1/2 teaspoon

Garam Masala – 1/4 teaspoon

Red chilli powder/ Paprika – 1/4 teaspoon

Salt – to taste


Tamarind extract Β – 1/2 cup

Chat Masala powder – 1 teaspoon

Garam Masala Β – 1/2 teaspoon

Red chilli powder – 1/4 teaspoon

Amchur powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander+Mint+ 4 green chillies paste – 2 tb sp

Jaggery powder – 2 tb sp

Salt – as per taste


  • You can make Puri’s at home. I will show how to prepare them in my upcoming posts


  • In a bowl mix finely chopped capsicum/ Green Bell pepper, Sweet corn and onion
  • Mix them well
  • Add red chilly flakes, paprika, garam masala and salt
  • Mix them well and keep aside
  • Stuffing is ready


  • In a bowl add tamarind extract, chat masala, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder, jaggery powder and salt
  • Mix them well and add sufficient water to it
  • Add chopped coriander and mix
  • Pani is ready

Pani puri:

  • Arrange puri’s in plate
  • On each puri make hole at center of it
  • Fill up the puri with stuffing
  • Pour Pani in each puri
  • Garnish with grated carrot and coriander
  • Serve it as a snack at evening, rainy season and winter season πŸ˜ƒ
