Vermicelli Kheer/ Semiya Payasam

Ingredients:

Vermicelli – 1 cup

Milk – 5 cups

Sugar – 3/4th cup

Ghee – 3 tb sp

Almond Flakes – 2 tb sp

Procedure:

— Take a pan add one tb sp of ghee fry vermicelli with low heat till golden brown color and then takeΒ out vermicelli in a bowl

— Now add almond flakes in the same pan fry till golden brown color and then take out in a bowl

— Next add fried vermicelli in the pan and add Milk in it with low to medium heat , stir the content in between so that it won’t sticky to the pan

— When milk boils at that time add sugar and 2 tb sp of ghee

— Stir the content until it becomes like kheer consistency

— At that moment switch off the Burner and add fried almond flakes

— Serve it in a bowl
